Animation:Master 2005 Tutorials*
Video 1 - The Interface, Mouse Commands, and Shading Methods
This will introduce you to the basics of A:M, understanding the interface, how to interact with the scene, and how to change the viewing styles. (25 min)
Disc 1 - Introduction and Character Modeling
Video 2 - Introduction to Modeling
This video will teach you the basics of using splines to model your character in A:M. (37 Min)
Video 3 - Character Modeling 1 - Modeling the Torso
This video will begin the process of modeling your character by setting up the rotoscopes and starting with the torso. (1hr 27 min)
Video 4 - Character Modeling 2 - Modeling the Foot and Hand
This will continue with the character modeling, by adding the foot and the hand. (1 hr 23 min)
Video 5 - Character Modeling 3 - Modeling the Head
This video will teach you how to layout the splines of the head and fill it in completely, also adding the teeth and tongue. (2 hr 3 min)
Disc 2 - Character Rigging
Video 1 - Introduction to Animation
This video will teach you the basics of using the dope sheet, setting up choreographies, setting keys, using reference, etc. (31 min)
Video 2 - Character Rigging Part 2- Geometry Bones
This video will teach you how to add the core bones to the model that will do the deforming of the mesh. (2 hr 5 min)
Disc 3 - Character Animation
Video 2 - Keyframing Timelapse
Now that you have your character keyed in it’s starting pose, it’s time to lay out all your major keyframes.  This video is a timelapse of me setting all of those, and then some explanation that goes along with it.  There is no audio for the timelapse sections. (52 min)
Video 1 - Character Rigging Part 1 - Geometry Bones
This video will teach you the basics of bones, how to add the core bones to the model that will do the deforming of the mesh, and how to add cosmetic bones to allow for better deformation of the mesh. (1 hr 23 min)
Video 3 - Inbetween Timelpse
Once all of the keyframes are set, it’s time to start creating the inbetweens.  This video will show you how to add more life to your animation by adding the inbetweens.  Again, the timelapse has no audio, and there is also explanations throughout the video. (1 hr 15 min)
Video 4 - Finessing the Curves
This video will show you how to give your animation curves a little tweaking to get the motion just right. (58 min)
Video 5 - Facial Animation
This video will teach you how to add lip sync and facial emotion to your animation. (50 min)
Video 6 - Final Rendering
Now that you have your animation finished, you need to do a final render.  This will go over render settings that will give you a great looking render. (10 min)

These tutorials were created using Animation:Master 2005.  Since then, the software has changed slightly, but all of the information here is still completely pertinent.  Even though I no longer use A:M on a regular basis, I still believe that it is one of the most powerful CG tools out there.
